What is Breathwork?
Breathwork is a practice of conscious, connected breathing that taps into the body's natural ability to heal and access self-love. It's an active and powerful form of meditation.
While there are many styles of breathwork, at Block and Breathe I guide you through a two-stage pranayama breath— a technique passed on by David Elliott. This simple yet transformative method involves breathing through the mouth with a two-part inhalation: first into the low belly, then into the high chest, followed by a relaxed exhale. I continue to train with David regularly to deepen both my practice and the experience I offer.
The benefits of breathwork are far-reaching. It can ease stress, enhance emotional well-being, boost energy, improve sleep, foster deeper connection with yourself and others, and awaken a greater sense of awe, delight, and the ability to live fully from the heart.

What is Block Therapy™ ?
Block Therapy™ is a restorative, detoxifying form of self-bodywork that decompresses fascia, releases tension and creates space for your breath to flow more freely—helping you to move through life with greater ease.
Using a specially designed wooden block (or a tightly rolled-up towel), we address adhesions in your connective tissue that build up from stress, injury, and aging.
Through conscious breathing, strategic block placement, and longer holds, restrictions in the body begin to melt away—softening tissue, easing tension, and increasing circulation. With each position, you support better alignment, mobility, and deep tissue healing.
Block Therapy™ is about unlocking ease, strength, and balance—so you can move through life feeling supported from the inside out.
The practice of Block Therapy™ is based on three core pillars:
Create Space: Decompress and release fascial adhesions throughout the body using the block.

Hello, I’m Diana Benz—a breathwork facilitator, Block Therapy™ instructor, and energy healer devoted to guiding you back to your natural balance, joy, and freedom. I believe deeply in the body’s wisdom. When we slow down and listen—guided by the breath—we create space for profound healing and lasting transformation.
Like many, my path was shaped by life’s unexpected turns. Yoga and Reiki became early companions—especially yoga, which offered a steady rhythm for both physical and emotional well-being. But as I entered my 40s, I began facing mysterious health challenges. The practices that once anchored me no longer brought relief. Chronic pain, anxiety, and a quiet disconnection from my body began to settle in. This turning point led me to seek healing from a new depth.
That’s when I discovered breathwork—an active form of meditation that opened emotional doorways I hadn’t known were waiting. It helped me release long-held layers, expand my awareness, and reconnect to a truer relationship with body and mind. Soon after came Block Therapy™—a fascia decompression method rooted in diaphragmatic breathing and aligned presence. What I once thought was unresolvable pain began to dissolve. Together, these two practices brought me to a level of vitality and peace I had never known—and sparked the calling to share them.
Today, I’m a devoted mother, guide, and space holder. I carry a grounded presence, reverence for nature’s rhythms, and a deep curiosity for what it means to be truly human.
We all face thresholds. But beyond them lies beauty and freedom. Healing begins when we welcome what’s ready to be felt. It’s an honor to walk beside you—as you return to yourself, one breath at a time.
